Hobbs Farms - Simmental Heifer, Simmental Steer, Show Cattle and Simmental Breeding Stock

Hobbs Farms has had many years of Simmental Heifer and Simmental Steer Show Champions at all levels of competition. We have had tremendous success at the Indiana State Fair both in the Open Beef Class with 2006 Grand Champion Simmental Heifer and in the 4-H program with a 2005 Champion Simmental Steer raised on our farm.  The same Simmental heifer that won the 2006 State Fair also got 14th overall Simmental heifer in the 2006 National Simmental Junior Show held in Wisconsin.  We also had the 2007 Kentucky Beef Expo Champion Simmental Heifer raised on our farm.

HF Serena 74Y offered in the 2011 sale is a daughter of Miss Knockout 74T that had such a tremendous show year in 2008. She won the 2008 NAILE, American Royal, Indiana 4-H Supreme Heifer and Simmental Breeders shows.   Click here to see more.

We hold American Simmental Registration 9303 and have been involved with Simmentals very early in the proliferation of that breed to the US market.  We continue to maintain a herd of 80 brood cows, mostly Simmental and SimAngus.
